
Dr. Daniel Roseman

Dr. Daniel Roseman is the principal of Roseman Associates, International Trade and Communications Consultants, Ottawa. He is an experienced international trade negotiator and consultant, with more than 25 years' involvement in the communications field. He is recognized as an authority on international trade in services and ICT (information and communication technology) goods and services. He pioneered efforts toward free trade in these areas, and 'fathered' the WTO's Reference Paper on pro-competitive regulatory principles.
Dr. Roseman has worked in both the public and private sectors. Prior to entering private practice, he served as Advisor and Negotiator for Communications in the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and was Canada's chief negotiator in the WTO negotiations on basic telecommunications.
