Dr. Kurt Klein

Kurt Klein is Professor of Economics and Research Director of the Pacific Research Institute at the University of Lethbridge, and Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University, and has been visiting professor at universities in Japan, Germany and Canada. He earned a B.S.A. and M.Sc. in agricultural economics at the University of Saskatchewan, and a Ph.D. at Purdue University. He was named a Fellow of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society in 2000. Dr. Klein has published extensively and lectured widely, and been involved in international development projects in Costa Rica, India, China, the Philippines, and Viet Nam.
